What we collect
When you complete the eligibility check, we collect:
- Your name
- Your home address and postcode
- Your email address
- Your UK mobile number
- Your approximate monthly electricity spend
- Whether you own the property
We do not collect anything else through the check, and we do not buy data about you from anyone.
Why we collect it, and the lawful basis
We use this information to assess whether your property may be suitable for the Solar Plan and to contact you about arranging an assessment. The lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box before submitting the check. You can withdraw consent at any time using the contact details above, and we will stop contacting you.
Who we share it with
To arrange an assessment and, if you go ahead, an installation, we share your details with our MCS-certified installation partners and the Solar Plan provider. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
If your property is not suitable or you do not go ahead, we keep your details for no longer than 12 months and then delete them — sooner if you ask. If you become a customer, we keep what the relevant agreements and law require.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can:
- Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong
- Ask us to delete your information
- Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it
- Withdraw consent at any time

Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Your quiz answers are held temporarily in your own browser (session storage) so a page refresh does not lose them; they are not sent anywhere until you press submit.
